Our Mission
At Family and Communitiy Growth Center, our mission is to strengthen historically underserved and underrepresented communities by providing high-quality accesible counseling services to caregivers as they navigate emotional and psychological challenges.
Our Approach
We believe that the best way to strenghten communities is to focus efforts on supporting the leadership within families. We utilize a strengths-based approach that supports caregivers in identifying their pre-existing strengths. Our goal is to provide counseling supports and psychoeducation that guides caregivers in their efforts to develop additional skills and mobilize supports they have yet to connect with. We believe the healthy and happy caregivers, create healthy and happy communities, and healthy and happy communities create environments where kids thrive.
Our Services
Our agency currently offers virtual group therapy for caregiver-child pairs that are survivors of trauma. Additionally, we also offer training and professional development opportunities on various mental health topics. Please contact us to learn more about our services.
