Katie Onitiri-Hageman is passionate about helping others. She has a history of more than 15 years working in the criminal justice, child welfare and state psychiatric hospitals. Her passion is to help communities learn about their mental health, break the cycle of recidivism, addiction and relational issues.
Katie is an adjunct professor that has taught Issues in the Criminal Justice System & Strategies in Addiction Counseling. Katie uses an integrative approach to therapy that addresses trauma clients in families.
Her background includes a BA (Purdue U.) in psychology, MA (Rutgers U.) in Criminal Justice and Ed.S (The College of New Jersey) in Marriage & Family Therapy with extensive mental health/counseling courses and trauma training. Katie also manages a private practice where she utilizes EMDR & address relational issues..
She loves traveling with her two sons and husband. Katie values self-care and loves to educate women about taking care of themselves. Katie loves journaling so much that she created her own journals and they can be found on Amazon.
Dr. Massie-Lambert is a licensed clinical psychologist who was drawn to the field of mental health because of an interest in identifying the internal and external resources that support people in recovering and growing in the face of stress and adversity. She firmly believes that In the face of change, challenges and uncertainty the best thing we can all do regardless of age or stage is see the discomfort that comes along with these situations as an opportunity for growth and increasing our abilities to navigate the world around us.
Dr. Massie-Lambert is a certified National Trainer for Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) suicide prevention program, Youth Mental Health First Aid, Psychological First Aid for disaster response and Skills for Psychological Recovery. Over the course of her training and career Dr. Massie-Lambert has worked in various settings both providing direct care and serving as an advocate for equitable mental health supports. She is passionate about increasing mental health awareness and working with historically underrepresented populations.
